Featured Activities:
1. Minefield:
– Objective: Navigate a “minefield” of obstacles blindfolded with the help of teammates’ verbal guidance.
– How to Play: Set up an obstacle course with various objects (cones, ropes, etc.) spread out on the ground. One participant is blindfolded and must rely on teammates’ verbal instructions to navigate through the “minefield” without touching the objects.
2. Team Skiing:
– Objective: Work together to ski in sync without falling over.
– How to Play: Use a pair of long boards (planks) and have a team stand on them, each person holding a rope to stay balanced. The team has to ski together in a coordinated manner without any member falling over.
3. Survival Scavenger Hunt:
– Objective: Find and gather items that would be useful for survival in the wilderness.
– How to Play: Provide a list of items (e.g., water, food, shelter materials) that participants must find in the outdoor area. They must strategize, communicate, and collaborate to collect all items within a given time frame.
4. Group Raft Building:
– Objective: Construct a raft using provided materials and successfully float it on water.
– How to Play: Provide participants with materials such as ropes, barrels, and wood. Teams must work together to build a raft that can support their weight and successfully float on water. This activity tests planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
5. Outdoor Obstacle Course:
– Complete a series of physical challenges as a team.
– How to Play: Create an obstacle course with different physical challenges such as climbing walls, crawling under nets, and balancing on beams. Teams must navigate the course together, supporting and encouraging each other to complete all challenges.
